Personal bio
Ting-An Lin is an Interdisciplinary Ethics Postdoctoral Fellow at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, with a partnership affiliation with the Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). Before joining Stanford, she earned her PhD in philosophy from Rutgers University, where she also received a Graduate Certificate in women's and gender studies. Her research interests lie at the intersection of ethics, political philosophy, and feminist philosophy, with a particular focus on how new forms of technology (such as AI) shape social structures and impose constraints on different groups of people.
