Personal bio
Sylvia Kloetzer received her Masters degree in German Language and Literature from the Free University in Berlin, Germany in 1987, her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1992. 2005: Habilitation in cultural studies at the University of Potsdam. Teaching and research positions include 1991/2 Prof. at Williams College, 2005 at UMass Amherst, Postdoc and researcher at the Potsdam Center for Contemporary History (ZZF) 1995-2000; at Potsdam University (Institut für Germanistik) since 2006; teaches at the Berlin Stanford Program since 2009.
