My interests include many aspects of environmental fluid mechanics, but specifically the fundamental principles of hydrodynamics in coastal and estuarine systems and their interaction with the built and natural environment. Particular areas of focus include: wave-current interaction and nearshore circulation, bottom boundary layer effects on waves and currents in high frictional environments, and the interaction of physics with coral reef ecology. |
