Personal bio
Jara Dusatko received her Master Degree in Education from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She was a high school teacher of Czech and Russian Language, and a leading instructor for internship students of Charles University. Upon completion of the Online Catalog Course at UC Berkeley she worked as a Library Specialist at Hoover Institution, then in Green Library at Stanford, processing library materials in Slavic languages. Since 1997 she has been a Lecturer of the Czech Language in the Stanford Language Center- Special Language Program. She enjoys singing at Stanford Symphonic Chorus, screening Czech movies, swimming, skiing and hiking. Since 2009 she is a president of Sokol San Francisco, Educational-Social and Non-profit Cultural Organization. Since 2012 she is teaching in Czech School of California. |
