Personal bio
Dr. Brooks, a urologic surgeon, has focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer in patient care and basic research. Dr. Brooks received his A.B. with honors from the University of Chicago and his M.D. from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He trained in surgery, urology and urologic oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital (1988-1997). He joined the Stanford faculty in 1997 and continues to have a busy clinical practice and active research laboratory. Currently teaching
