Personal bio
I earned my PhD in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English from the University of Arizona, and joined Stanford's Program in Writing & Rhetoric in 2013. I have over a decade of experience teaching college-level writing and working in and managing writing centers. My research interests include composition pedagogy, writing center pedagogy, and institutional critique. I see writing centers as the place on campus that houses and disseminates writing expertise, and writing-intensive classrooms as the place on campus where students have the potential to find their identity as writers and researchers.
