Personal bio
Diana's research focuses on studying coastal resilience and assessing the spatial and temporal distribution of coastal hazards and identifying the communities that are mostly impacted. She is developing spatial models to assess the potential of nature-based solutions to mitigate these hazards. Diana also teaches several courses in geospatial data science (GIS) and remote sensing. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Science Policy and Management from UC Berkeley in 2020 and a Master’s in Science in Marine Affairs and Policy from the University of Miami in 2015.
