Personal bio
Martin Steinert, Acting Assistant Professor ME, is Deputy Director of the Center for Design Research (CDR) and of the Hasso Plattner Design Thinking Research Program (HPDTRP) at Stanford University. His research focuses on optimizing the intersection between engineering, new product development and the design process. Before coming to Stanford he was a visiting scholar at MIT's product development and design group and Assistant Professor at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland where he also received his PhD in 2006. |
