PWR 2JJ: Writing & Rhetoric 2: Language, Identity and Power
PWR 2 courses focus on developing strategies for presenting research-based arguments in both written and oral/multimedia genres. This course takes as its theme the construction and negotiation of power and difference through language as it intersects with gender, sexuality, race, ability, and class. We'll explore this across spheres such as politics, education, science, sports and the media, intertwined with forces like globalization, immigration, and technology.
