INDE 280: Student Community Outreach and Physician Support (S-CORPS)
This course fulfills the ECE graduation requirement for students who complete participation in 3 quarters. Students will be assigned to a clinical team in Stanford's Internal Medicine Resident Clinic and will have the opportunity to shadow clinicians and participate in case presentations and discussions. Shadowing schedule will be determined based on student and preceptor availability. During the winter quarter, SCORP students will participate in a front-line quality improvement project within the clinic and have the opportunity to collaborate with the clinical team on improving healthcare delivery and quality of care within the site. Students who participate in
INDE 280 will have priority for continuity preceptor placement in Ambulatory Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care specialties as MS2+. Students co-enrolled in INDE 290 attend the INDE 290 didactics to meet the course didactic requirement. Open to Medical Students only.
