SPECLANG 133: Advanced Dutch Conversation
Advanced Dutch Conversation requires completion of the third-year sequence, or consent of instructor. This 2-units course focuses on oral communication. Speaking skills and functions include narration, description, supporting opinions, and hypothesizing about current events and issues in Dutch speaking regions around the world. Students are invited to bring texts, audio/video material, and to suggest topics of conversation.

SPECLANG 133A: Third-Year Dutch, First Quarter
Focus is on speaking, writing, reading, and listening abilities in Dutch. Interactive approach enables students to express concepts and develop communicative competence at the basic level. Cultural context is an essential part of the course.
