As former Prime Minister, and in current capacity as head of the Democratic Party, the instructor has been dealing with these issues firsthand for a number of years. On questions such as the current migrant/refugee crises, issues of citizenship and national identity, the Euro, and Brexit (just to name a few), the approach will be informed by political and economic theories and will be presented in an objective academic context; the instructor will also share not only his take on these questions but also his experiences in addressing them as an insider.
