Riemann-Roch theorem, Abel-Jacobi map. Uniformization theorem. Hyperbolic surfaces. (Suitable for advanced undergraduates.) Prerequisites:
MATH 106 or
MATH 116, and familiarity with surfaces equivalent to
MATH 143,
MATH 146, or
MATH 147.
