JAPANLNG 7B: Japanese Language Through Its Culture

The Goal is to continue to use enhance knowledge and use of basic grammar/vocabulary/Kanji characters through reading and viewing Japanese culturally themed materials. Students will develop and deepen their understanding of Japanese culture through discussion in Japanese. Recommended for those who have been or are planning to visit or study/work in Japan. 7A-C can be taken in sequence or not in sequence nPrerequisite: JAPANLNG 2 or consent of instructor.

JAPANLNG 11A: Intermediate Japanese Conversation, First Quarter

(Formerly JAPANLNG 27.Goal of t he course is to converse in Japanese with more confidence. Develops oral proficiency through building solid basic sentence patterns and increasing vocabulary in order to gain ability to speak about greater variety of topics with more detail. Class activities include role play and mini skits for practical use of Japanese. Prerequisite: JAPANLNG 3 or consent of instructor.
