ARTSTUDI 278: Light and Shadow II
Through film and dark room instruction, students learn to work with medium format cameras and to print on fiber-based paper. They develop an intentional and refined sense of photographic composition through a series of exercises and assignments that engage their ability to create a visual narrative both in an individual photograph and a sequence of photographs. They practice advanced level dark room techniques and extend their knowledge of aesthetics and culture through a series of case studies of contemporary photographic artists.
