ECON 241: Public Economics I
Introduction to key issues in public economics, including the optimal design of tax and transfer policy, income and wealth inequality, social mobility, the empirical effect of taxes on earnings and savings, and behavioral welfare economics. Students will learn frontier theoretical and empirical tools that are currently used to address questions of relevance to economic policy. Prerequisites:
