Notes: Threre is a required field weekend at Pinnacles National Park where rock anchoring skills will be practiced. This will be an overnight (2 nights) experience and will involve camping. The field weekend is scheduled for 11/10-11/12. We will meet to pack depart at 12 noon on 11/10and return to campus by 6 pm on 11/12 . The course fee covers expenses of the field experience. Required: you are responsible for providing some personal outdoor equipment, clothing, and footwear for the overnight camping field section. This class has a $150 course fee.

Notes: The topic for this quarter will be muli-pitch rock climbing. The course will run as a field intensive from June 13-18th. Student will need to have either taken Outdoor 15 or be able to understand and build rock anchors using traditional gear placements.
