SPECLANG 101B. Distance learning combined with periodic on-site instruction, conducted primarily in Nahuatl. Course emphasizes developing effective communication at a basic level, covering grammatical structures, vocabulary, and sentence patterns through speaking, reading, writing, and listening in everyday situations. Nahuatl culture. Some knowledge of Spanish is useful. Prerequisite:

Second Year Bengali is the first course in a three-quarter sequence. The course focuses on developing all four skills as students gain practice in the use of the language in a range of situations, including conversations discussions and presentations.
