SOC 350: Sociology of Race
Emphasis on conceptualizing and theorizing race and ethnicity in research. Surveys cultural approaches to meaning-making in the realm of race relations. Differentiation, organization, and stratification by race across a range of domains. Identity, political and economic participation, group solidarity.
