Amy Zegart

Amy Zegart joined Stanford in 2011 as a Hoover Institution Senior Fellow and Faculty Affiliate of the Center for International Security and Cooperation. Previously, she was Professor of Public Policy at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs (1999-2011). Her research examines the adaptation challenges of U.S. intelligence agencies. She received an A.B. in East Asian studies from Harvard and an M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from Stanford. Aside from researching scary topics, she loves watching Stanford football and basketball games.
