John Evans

John Evans John W. Evans is a recent Wallace Stegner Fellow in poetry and current Jones Lecturer. He is the author of two books, forthcoming in March 2014. His memoir, Young Widower, will be published by University of Nebraska Press. His poetry collection, The Consolations, will be published by Trio House Press. His poems and essays appear in Slate, The Missouri Review, Boston Review, Gettysburg Review, ZYZZYVA, and The Rumpus, as well as the chapbooks, No Season (FWQ, 2011) and Zugzwang (RockSaw, 2009). He has worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bangladesh, a public school teacher in Chicago, and a college teacher in Romania.
