Sasha Leitman

Sasha Leitman Sasha Leitman is a musician, artist and inventor who is currently the projects manager at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. She has been making musical instruments, new interfaces for musical expression and sound art installations for ten years. Previous projects include an adult-sized musical playground and various tape loop playing contraptions made out of bicycle parts and guitar effects pedals. Currently, she is working on a set of instruments designed for street performance in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf and acoustically resonant metal sculptures inspired by the shape of large ocean waves.
