
Personal Bio
Dr. Sam L. Savage, is Author of The Flaw of Averages, Consulting Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University, and Fellow of the Judge Business School at Cambridge University . In 2006 he co-founded ProbabilityManagement.org, and in 2008, in collaboration with Oracle Corp., SAS Institute, and Frontline Systems, he led the development of the DIST standard Distribution String for storing probability distributions as encapsulated scenarios. He holds a PhD in the area of computational complexity from Yale University.
