Art Owen

Art Owen Art Owen teaches many doctoral level applied statistics courses, such as linear models (305A), categorical data (305B), consulting (390) and Monte Carlo (362). He also teaches experimental design (263/363). His research interests include nonparametric inference, such as the bootstrap and empirical likelihood, as well as Monte Carlo and quasi-Monte Carlo sampling. He applies statistics to problems motivated by bioinformatics and e-commerce.
