Maria Norma Villalon Landeros

Maria Norma Villalon Landeros Dr. Norma Villalon Landeros received her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from the University of California, Davis and her medical degree from Stanford School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Stanford Health Care–O'Connor Hospital in San Jose. In 2020, she joined the Stanford faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Primary Care and Population Health and practices family medicine at Stanford Primary Care in Santa Clara. Through Stanford's Community Partnership Program, she also cares for patients at Roots Community Health Center in San Jose and the Rotary Mobile Medical Clinic, bringing primary care directly to underserved communities in the South Bay. Dr. Villalon Landeros is deeply committed to health equity, community-engaged care, and medical education. She has founded several community health initiatives, including a Spanish-language diabetes education program for monolingual Spanish-speaking patients during her residency. She also serves as a preceptor for medical students and PA students. As a first generation, native Spanish speaker, she is passionate about expanding access to care for underserved communities and mentoring the next generation of physicians from underrepresented backgrounds. Outside of medicine, she enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
