William Barnett

William Barnett My research looks at how humanity is responding to the challenge of environmental sustainability. This includes how we are, collectively, understanding the challenge: as a technical issue, a behavioral issue, or a moral issue. I am also looking into the revolution now going on, worldwide, among organizations that are mitigating our impact on the world, as well as those dealing with adaptation to the changes now going on in the world's ecosystems. My work covers organizations all over the world, and includes analyses of the proliferation of climate tech start ups, issues around environmental justice, the challenge of climate migration, and the urgent need to preserve the world's rainforests.
