Darrell Duffie is the Dean Witter Distinguished Professor of Finance at the Graduate School of Business. He teaches and does research in the area of financial markets. Duffie is a senior fellow of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He serves on several not-for-profit and private-sector boards and is active in the design and regulation of financial markets. His recent books include How Big Banks Fail And What to Do About It (Princeton, 2010) and Measuring Corporate Default Risk (Oxford, 2011).
