David Henderson

David Henderson David Henderson has been an active performer and teacher for over 40 years. He has played regularly with the San Francisco Symphony, Ballet and Opera, including tours, audio and video recordings, and television appearances. He has played both on and off-Broadway, and with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the BBC Symphony, the Russian National Orchestra, the Bolshoi Ballet, and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. He has appeared as soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, Oakland Symphony, Bay Area Rainbow Symphony and many other groups. For many years he was a member of the San Francisco Saxophone Quartet, a group that was discovered on the streets of San Francisco by the president of Angel/EMI records, and went on to record many albums and tour most of the 50 states and abroad. He teaches at Stanford University and the San Francisco Conservatory.
