Christopher Chidsey

Christopher Chidsey Christopher Chidsey received his Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College in 1978 and his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1983 and completed a year of postdoctoral Study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories (1984-1992) before joining the Stanford faculty in 1992. His research concerns the chemistry of surfaces and interfaces, particularly the interface between electrically conductive solids and molecular materials. In addition to his technical pursuits, Chris Chidsey enjoys hiking, mountaineering and backcountry skiing.
