Personal bio
I taught classes in computer science and led an AI and robotics research group at Brown University for nearly 20 years. I worked at Google as a research scientist for 12 years, during which I also taught classes at Stanford. I am currently an emeritus professor at Brown, a lecturer in the Stanford Computer Science department where I teach a class on computational neuroscience, and a research fellow affiliated with the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute at Stanford.
