Personal bio
Ying is a PhD candidate in plant biology working in the lab of Jose Dinneny. Her thesis project aims to understand the evolution of salt tolerance in Brassicaceae species. She is a first-generation college student and enjoys volunteering in her spare time. When she is not in the lab, she is helping to promote women in science, diversity in STEM fields, and helping graduate students find more support during their PhDs. |
