Personal bio
Sherman Leung received his B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Management Science & Engineering in 2016. As a student, he started CS96SI (iOS Development for Mobile Health) which has evolved into CS342 (Building for Digital Health) and also co-created CS42 and CS41, Stanford's first course teaching Python and Contemporary Javascript. He has supported over 1000 students over his cumulative time through these courses and also serving as a course assistant for CS106A, CS106B, CS377U, CS193C, CS194H, and as a head course assistant for CS147 under Dr. James Landay. After graduating, he worked for a few years as a digital health product manager and early-stage VC and he continued to invest and incubate healthcare companies while pursuing an M.D. at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. He is now back at Stanford as a emergency medicine resident physician but always happy to engage with CS students interested in healthcare. |
