Personal bio
Skip Horack was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in the Stanford University Creative Writing Program from 2006-08, where he is currently a Jones Lecturer and Marsh McCall Lecturer. A native of Louisiana, his work has appeared in Oxford American, The Southeast Review, New Delta Review, Louisiana Literature, The Southern Review, StoryQuarterly, Epoch, Narrative Magazine, and elsewhere. His short story collection, The Southern Cross, won the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference 2008 Bakeless Fiction Prize and was published by Mariner Books/Houghton Mifflin-Harcourt in August 2009. His novel The Eden Hunter was published by Counterpoint in August 2010. |
