Pete Mohanty, a Thinking Matters Fellow who’s originally from Stony Brook, NY, holds a PhD in political science from the University of Texas at Austin. Having studied in France and Germany, his research compares immigration politics in different countries and emphasizes the intersections of xenophobia and Islamophobia with economic, cultural, and security concerns. His other major research interest is data science; he also holds a master's in statistics and develops open source statistical software. |
