Personal bio
Nanci Conniff nconniff@stanford.edu m/txt: 650 787-9177 Professional Bio Nanci has been teaching Group Exercise here in the Bay Area for over twenty-five years and currently teaches yoga, Pilates and core training techniques at Stanford University. As a P.E. instructor her students include undergraduate and graduate students as well as many top college and professional athletes. Nanci also teaches select athletic teams as a part of Stanfordâ??s Sports Performance Department. In the summer of 2008 she taught yoga and Pilates to the U.S. Olympic Swim Team. Prior to coming to Stanford she founded Cardio Classic, a continuing education conference for fitness professionals and served as an Educational Director for the International Aerobic Federation, the governing body of the World Sport Aerobic Championships. She holds fitness certificates from the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise and in Classical Pilates Technique from the Physical Mind Institute. Nanci is a nine-time recipient of the John S. Knight Foundationâ??s Favorite Professor Award.
