Personal bio
Maria Gloria is an architect and scholar working at the intersections of environmental literature, visual culture and gender studies. She received her B.A from Swarthmore College, her MArch from Harvard University and is currently completing her PhD in comparative literature at Stanford University. Her dissertation traces the history of vertigo in the 17th century transoceanic world; attending to both the continuity of indigenous thought in conceptions of gender and animate space as to their distortion in colonial practices of economic extraction. |
