Personal bio
Momoyo Kubo Lowdermilk received her Master's degree in Linguistics from University of California at Davis in 1992 after she studied Applied Linguistics with an emphasis on English as Second Language both in Japanese and American universities. Momoyo worked as a translator briefly and taught Japanese at UC Davis before joining the Stanford academic staff in 1992. In addition to her professional pursuits, Momoyo is a certified teacher of Sogetsu School of Japanese flower arrangement. Currently teaching
