Personal bio
Kalanit Grill-Spector received her Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Ben Gurion University in 1990, her Masters in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 1995 and her Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Computer Science from Weizmann Institute of Science in 2000. Kalanit was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Brain and Cognitive Science Department at MIT (1999-2001). In 2001 she joined Stanford University. Presently, she is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology and the Neuroscience Institute at Stanford University. She has won several awards including the HSFP Long term fellowship, the Sloan Research Fellowship in Neuroscience and the Klingenstein Fellowship in Neuroscience. In addition to her scientific pursuits, Kalanit enjoys traveling to new places, theatre and painting. Currently teaching |
