Personal bio
Jacqueline Genovese received her master’s in Medical Humanities in 2013 from the Institute for the Medical Humanities at the University of Texas Medical Branch and will complete her MFA in January, 2018. She teaches writing and literature for Stanford students who are veterans or military-related, and she leads a literature and medicine series at Stanford Hospital for physicians and at VA San Francisco for health professionals. She is a writer for Scopeblog, a member of the Stanford Physician Wellness Committee and academic program officer for the Medicine & the Muse program in the School of Medicine.
