Personal bio
Jennifer Schwartz received her Bachelors degree in Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis in 2002. At the end of 2008 she completed her Ph.D. in Ed Solomon's lab here at Stanford, where she studied the structure and function of Ferritin and other iron proteins. During this time, Jennifer also gained significant experience in teaching through her work with the department and Stanfordâ??s Center for Teaching and Learning. Upon graduation, Jennifer accepted a full time position as Lecturer and Introductory Course Coordinator in Chemistry and has loved working with students as they are just getting into science. Jennifer grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin and while she misses the more colorful falls and excellent fishing back in her home state, she has really grown to love California. In her spare time she enjoys wine tasting at local vineyards, skiing in Tahoe, or just hiking around the dish. Currently teaching
