Personal bio
Dian Zhong is a Research Fellow at the Hoover History Lab, Stanford University, specializing in comparative politics and political economy of development in Latin America and Asia. She has authored extensively on political institutions, regime change, economic transitions, Third World geopolitics, and China’s foreign policy toward Latin America. Dian speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Portuguese. Previously, she taught at Peking University and Beijing Foreign Studies University, as well as working as a professional simultaneous interpreter for international organizations such as the UN, G20, and Brics. |
