Doug Brutlag is professor emeritus of Biochemistry and Medicine (by courtesy). Professor Brutlag was coPrincipal Investigator of the NIH GenBank database and on the Advisory Boar and Planning Panel of the National Library of Medicine, and founded a biotechnology software company. Doug Brutlag received his B.S. with honors in Biology from Caltech and his Ph.D. with great distinction from Stanford. He received the ComputerWorld/Smithsonian award for the best application in Science in 1992. |
