Aliya Saperstein (Professor)

Aliya Saperstein
Personal bio
Professor Saperstein received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Washington and her Ph.D. in Sociology and Demography from the University of California-Berkeley. She previously taught at the University of Oregon before joining the Stanford faculty in 2011. Before entering graduate school, Saperstein worked as a reporter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the Riverside Press-Enterprise. She primarily covered (then) Pac-10 football and men's and women's basketball.
