Personal bio
Antja joined the Stanford Outdoor Education team in March of 2011. She has worked in educational program operations, development and management, and adventure travel primarily for Stanford since 2000. She has held roles as a lead and field instructor for academic courses in Outdoor Living Skills and Leadership. She's held roles in EMS related to firefighting/EMT work and Search and Rescue in both Lake Tahoe Basin and greater Bay Area. Though she previously held roles heading SPOT/pre-orientation trips affiliated with Outdoor Education, she currently serves as program head in (Health and Human Performance) and primary instructor for Emergency Medicine classes regarding wilderness activity, assessment, and response. Her academic interests are in workplace performance, student leadership and transformative experience. Outside of the work environment, Antja enjoys performing music, adventuring in the outdoors, generally connecting with others and finding joy.
