Personal bio
Andrew Eskin teaches courses on the intricacies of Washington Policymaking at Stanford-in-Washington as well as George Washington University law school. Mr. Eskin was a Partner at DLA Piper, a global law firm, in its Washington, D.C. office. During his more than 25 years in private law practice, he represented corporations, trade associations, coalitions, and governmental entities before federal regulatory agencies and the U.S. Congress. He has advised clients on developing and implementing strategic objectives on financial services, tax and health policy, antitrust and trade regulation, and political law issues. Mr. Eskin previously served as Legislative Director to a U.S. Senate Member of the Finance; Banking; and Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committees; an Attorney in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission; an Economic Analyst for the Conservative Research Department serving British Members of Parliament; and a Legislative Assistant to a U.S. Member of Congress.
