Personal bio
Amy Elkins is a visual artist and educator working primarily in photography and installation, holding a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA in Art Practice from Stanford University. She has been actively engaged in the professional art world for over 15 years through exhibitions, fellowships, publications, artist lectures, and more. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at The High Museum of Art, South Bend Museum of Art, MSU Broad Museum, Kunsthalle Wien, North Carolina Museum of Art, and more. Her photographs have been published in the LA Times, Newsweek, NY Times, New Yorker, and Vice, among many others.
