Discussion and group exercises related to technical fundamentals, resources, and field construction operations for earthwork, concrete construction steel work, and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems. Introduces construction engineering and prepares students for courses related to CEM and SDC degrees. Required: advance queries related to reading, class sessions, group exercises, summary paper (additional unit requires expanded paper). Class will be held in the first five weeks of Winter Quarter only.
