Provides an overview of America¿s sports culture, focusing on three of the most popular sports: basketball, baseball, and American football. Through an introduction to their rules and histories, students gain familiarity with the unique language patterns that surround discussions of sports, as well as the many sports-related metaphors and idioms in non-sports conversations in business and everyday life.
