Continuation of SPECLANG 170B. First Year Third Quarter Modern Greek is the third course in a three quarter sequence. Course emphasizes further developing basic level communication skills using daily life topics. Grammatical structures and vocabulary are introduced through interpersonal, interpretive and presentational modes of communication. Modern Greek culture. Prerequisite: SPECLANG 170B. Fulfills the University language requirement.

SPECLANG 171A: Second-Year Modern Greek, First Quarter

Continuation of SPECLANG 170C. Second Year Modern Greek, First Quarter in a three quarter sequence. The course integrates language and culture with an emphasis on developing proficiency in oral and written discourse. Targeted functional abilities include presentational and socio-culturally appropriate language in formal and informal contexts.Prerequisite SPECLANG170C or placement test.
