BIOC 218: Computational Molecular Biology (BIOMEDIN 231)

Practical, hands-on approach to field of computational molecular biology. Recommended for molecular biologists and computer scientists desiring to understand the major issues concerning analysis of genomes, sequences and structures. Various existing methods critically described and strengths and limitations of each. Practical assignments utilizing tools described. Prerequisite: BIO 41 or consent of instructor.
